That is what it was intended for anyway.Well, you could just make your own custom font (which you should do anyway, because frankly default font for Mojo, both, is awful and usable only for debug stuff)
This way it would look better as you can make font as big as you want. You can use free tools like CBFG, Littera (not sure if it would work with Cerberus) or BMFont to create custom bitmap font for your game from ordinary TTF fonts.
