News Cerberus X v2017-07-04 released!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your nice comments! Very motivating! :)

@rIKmAN: Jungle works indeed very nice. Just add the new cxs extension to the preferences:

Hi I was very happy to be able to compile all my stuff using the latest Cerberus X release, but I ran into another problem, using Jungle (more precisely Monkey X Studio). I added the cxs extension to the preferences like Martin advised to but only a few keywords get highlighted and autocompleted. I guess I need to work a bit more to get this working but maybe someone here, Martin or someone else, had the same issue and solved it?
On this very simple code sample using Cerberus X you can see that a few keywords are not highlighted (LoadImage, DeviceWidth() )

Thanks for your ideas!

Could have something to do with renaming the monkey module to cerberus? Just guessing here.

Probably something like that. Basic keywords get highlighted/autocompleted but not the ones from the mojo modules.

Did you add .cerberusdoc to the file extensions too and let the docs build again?

Edit: Installed Jungle Demo and no, that doesn't help. :(

Yes thanks. I should contact Grudlux too since I'm using Mollusk on my Mac and I can't get to compile anything with it yet.

Hi, I have the same issues with Monkey X Studio Jungle ide, but it didn't bother me too much. Another problem I had, was that the ext Modules folder didn't work correctly. So I put all the third party modules in the normal modules folder.
I also noticed that Jungle writes the paths of mingw etc. at the end of the bin\config.winnt.txt file, so I think you have to check it in the middle and at the end of the file to get it working the same way in both ted and in Jungle.

Sorry for stepping in that late.

Actually I have the same issues with Jungle. Probably it parses internally only monkey files. Odd.

I've mailed Manel but he only said that you could add this extension as we already did but I doubt he will put any energy into Jungle anymore. He probably even won't add Monkey 2 support.

As Mike said Ryan (the Mollusk creator) already answered and will support us. The next release will support Cerberus plus there will be a small surprise. :)

I can't imagine going back to Ted... Mollusk is better but JungleIDE really is (was :( ) hands down the best IDE around...
I guess our "lifetime licenses" have finally ended... Thanks for contacting Manel and Ryan Martin!

Another idea regarding Jungle would be to use just the old extension. Cerberus works with both, if not, please let me know. :)

You mean renaming the mods? The files inside my project are already .monkey files.

Yes, you can just rename them back to .monkey.

Thanks! Renaming all the .cxs to .monkey in the modules folder doesn't change anything = still no highlighting/ no autocomplete here if I did it right...

That's strange. Will look into it.

Good news, I reached Manel, the author of Jungle and he will look into this. :)
