Changing the icon for the build

Hi,

I've started using Cerberus-x (annoyingly I paid for Monkey-x a month before it became free!) and it's been going great. I've got HTM5 and Android targets working (no others yet).

I am enjoying the experience though, I'm new to OOP and it's a new way of thinking for me. I'm fairly lose to finishing a remake of my Timebomb Amiga and PC remake.

For Android builds, is there a specific folder icons have to be placed, and what format? I can't seem to find any guides on it so my current project just has the Android icon when I copy the apk to my phone (it doesn't build and run directly but that's ok)

Cheers

Hi and welcome! :)

The icons are located here:
cerberus/targets/android/template/gradletemplate/app/src/main/res/

Quite some folders to go down, eh? ;)

Project based you should change them after the first build in your build folder.

Thanks guys. There are indeed many folders I'm guessing nothing can be done about that as it's what is needed to compile for Android. It's no worse than my folders on my HD anyway so I'll get used to it!

So, this means if I change the icons (10?) in the targets that would give me a personalised default icon. In the project folder these are specific to just the one project.

Time to load up GIMP...

Cheers,

Thanks, I changed them all in the project folder. I now have a nice (well, mine at least!) icon for my game on my phone!

Onwards...

Don't forget to make a post about it in the showcase section!

Done. Well, 3 of them anyway. (and 2 of them have icons now) :)
