The first console ever. Truly inspiring..
The next version would be the Odyssey II (G7000 in Europe). The first console using proper cartridges with actual code and data.

Many of the games on G7000 where made by one single programmer!

Very interesting the fact it was a mix of board game whit real pieces, cards, dices and a video game played on a TV. Seeing such vintage staff always remind me how excited I was when I played my very first video game and how much I did appreciate that few color pixels on the screen that I was not sure what it is but it was exciting. It is something that I believe the today generation growing up on 3D and VR titles never truly going to experience.

Yes I remember the those days. Think it was an Audio Sonic console.
I'm old enough to remember the progress of a number of machines from the 70s, 80s, 90's and PC's from the mid 90's onward's.

Same here, I'm old enough to remember how I used to love too play that G7000's hit "Munchkin".
Another personal favourite of mine which was some two-player Wild Western game with shooting cowboys.

Back then I was just a kid and my family actually had one as bc a distant relative owned a TV shop and because my uncle was very interested in new things and bought games from them. Before that we actually had a Fairchild console (which had really weird analog joystick controls that could press and rotate). Then came the G7000 and after that the Atari 2600, finally the NES.
I never owned anything myself though except a Intellivision for a few years. Good times.

But I also remember the constant struggle about what should be on the telly :p.. Dallas.. Golden girls.. or gaming.
When I think of these I fondly remember playing Pac-man together with my (very competitive haha) and sweet grandmother RIP.

I dreamed about programming and make some games for myself but I could never in my life imagine that I really would be doing it!
