• Hello everyone,

We're happy to announce that our forum is back online! We needed to take some time off to discuss and decide on how to handle sensitive topics in our community.

The team has posted an in-depth comment regarding a recent incident and our stance on politics and sexuality in our forum. We also added a dedicated paragraph about this in the forum guidelines. This is part of our commitment to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our users. Your understanding and continued support in building a creative and respectful community are highly appreciated.

    Thank you, the CX Dev-Team

Showcase HTML5 Worm Game

thanks for sharing. A worms/snake kind of game was the first one I wrote when I was 16 I think.

Nice start - but the user interface needs some thought I think! I was able to turn him by clicking near his head but it was very hard to control.

I guess you don't want a keyboard interface, but a set of on-screen arrow keys might be the way to go.

I had touch screen in mind with controlling the worm. With mouse, the pointer can be anywhere in the canvas area, when left mouse button is pressed down the direction is the main direction the mouse was moved. Quite hard at first with the mouse, I admit it. :) The game is quite tolerant as it comes to the worm crossing itself.
