Hi.

When I launch Cerberus IDE on my 5K Mac, it is very blurry including the text in the code editor and it is hurting my eyes.
Is there any way to improve this?

Thanks.

Try select the Cerberus-x executable and press Cmd+I and then you check the "Open in low resolution". That should fix it.

It seems they have removed this option from macOS 12 Monterey. Apple really want developers to optimise their apps for their retina displays I guess

Thanks anyway.

It think its time to much to QT6 and hope they have taken care for it. macOS 12 Monterey... first time I hear about it.

Do you mean you missed the opportunity to slow down your Mac even more? 😅
Joke aside, it is actually feels faster for me. Before the upgrade macOS 11 took almost 5 minutes to boot for some reason.
Since I upgraded to macOS 12, things back to "normal" for now. Don't know how long.

Mmh, I just injected an M.2 ssd into my 2014 mac mini. Now it is useable again. Not sure if I want to take the risk to test it out with a new version.

Well, the only new feature I really enjoy in macOS 12 is AirPlay support. I have some movie streaming apps on my iPhone that is not available for Mac nor the Web and I don't have Apple TV or Android TV. So until now I was forced to watch it on the small screen. But now I can easily stream videos from my iPhone to the Mac to watch movies on big screen with all the options available like language and subtitles, captions while I can use my iPhone for other things.

If you are a heavy FaceTime and Apple TV user, I also find it interesting that you can share-stream movies now, watch it together over FaceTime and talk in case that was not an option to come together in person to watch the movie but you want to.

Oh and the new Safari browser with the option to group tabs is also interesting but I heard lot of people complaining about crashes and freezes on Intel Macs, fortunately I am not effected.

Other than that, I don't think you miss anything. There are also improvements to Messages, Pages, Notes but this is the only features I primarily take advantage of.
