Can you make a text not overwrite what's already on the display? If I write something close to another text you can see they overwrite each other totally.
Is it possible to mask or even put a soft edge around a piece of text?

I'm also trying to find ut how to write international letters like ÅÄÖ which gets kind of tricky I think I need to use Unicode I guess for that.

If you are using the default font, this could be the case, because it has a black background and not a transparent one. But maybe I just got you wrong.

I think I found the information now! You load a .txt file instead of an image, and that txt file has some header that points to a png, which in turn gives me mask and maybe also alpha edges I hope, and after the header comes a list of Unicode characters.

Is there a guide for this format? Is it a broad standard, I'm trying to find a ttf conversion tool now,
any suggestions for any handy tools and format would be very much appreciated.
