Hello friends,

Please advise :)

A few years ago I programmed board game "Přes palubu" (English =>"Overboard") by the Czechoslovak original game (modification of the Alex Randolph's game from 1977).

And now I have one idea...

I would like to make this game for 2 players over the internet. Sorry if my question is too naive or too complicated. I am a complete amateur for server solutions.

I can program the game in CX/MX.
This is not a problem (it will be easier because there will not be AI).

So, target can be in HTML5/JS. But how to do the communication? If I have a game in CX (HTML5 / JS), would anyone be able to help? It is too difficult? And is the right way to do it with CX?

Thank you in advance for any help! ;)

Yeah, long time no see!!!! Glad you didn't left us! Looks interesting.
How many players at a time should be able to play it?

Thank you!
Yes, it's a rarity, beautiful game by Alex Randolph! :)
This is Czechoslovak original:

For now, only a primitive solution would be enough. Just 2 players, one vs the other...

Thank you very much!

I'm afraid I can not understand it. I'm not doing server solutions at all.
It will take me months to study it

Like this. If I do Overboard in CX (first step), would you be able to help me specifically?

I'm worried about doing this in CX "unnecessarily".

If time allows me to, and i plan to do so, i will write a tutorial. Martin just told me that it is doable in CX.
Which platform? Android?

OK, well...

I wrote the basic game engine in MonkeyX Studio.

This is outcome:

It allows it to play human vs human. You can play with yourself :)

And now, how to make the communication so that both players can play on the net? :rolleyes:o_O

P.S. Left/Right mouse button + arrow keys.

I will use Martin realtime module. According to his answer last week he said that it supports Android too. But i will see.
