Even that these videos are pretty dated (from 2013), they are still valid when you want to learn about how to create a game in Cerberus X (aka Monkey X).
Don't get confused about the IDE you see there, it was called Monk which was replaced by TED some time ago.

Go and check them out here:

Some useful stuff in there and not just for total beginners, thanks for the link. :)

@MikeHart: I still have the tutorial media files on one of the hard drive for these tutorials. Shall I upload them as I'm not sure of the distribution status of these?

Were they supplied by SMO and have a license on them?
I know that the last tutorial had a a licence file with them using Kevin MacLeod music.
I thought I still had them all, but alas I haven't got the complete set. The file I still have is the ones used in video 5. There's no licence file and he says in that video that you can do what you want with them.

It may be worth implementing our own files to go with these videos.

OK quick image set that I knocked up that should work with the Simple Game Tutorial - 09 on wards.
Edit: Most of the files listed here are as close as a match that I could figure out.
I haven't tested the animations or if the files will display correctly with the tutorials.
All images and sounds are built from scratch.
The files currently missing are music and the score box image (which would be pure guess work).
